So, I have been a slacker and I know it. There just seems to be so little computer time these days. Even now I type this with one hand and a baby in the other. But I will make up for my slacking right now with a ton of pics. Here is what we have been up to....
This here is the outcome when you put a two year old in charge of fashion....one shoe, no panties, a shirt and 5 hair clips. Kellen is starting to take interest in looking at toys. Why do they grow up so fast?
One of his favorite spots to be. And mine too....mommy's shoulder :)
Makin cupcakes (or Happy Cakes as Kenna calls them) just for the heck of it.
Talk about knowing how to relax at a young age! This is just a classic. Bed head, no pants on and wearing mittens. (There are a lot of naked bum pictures because of all the potty training....which is going great these days!)Makenna got her first black eye after being slammed into by a wild child at Chuck E. Cheese. She took it like a champ though!! It almost looks like she is wearing eye shadow. Kellen with his second cousin, Jessi. She is two months older than him....I know, he is a giant! Looking like the big boy that he is.Bubbles!! The shirt says it all. Daddy getting to feed Kellen for the first time. What a proud Pop! Grammy got Kenna a cupcake to celebrate her potty success. Makenna is so proud to be a big girl going "pee pee and poo poo" on her potty. Mommy is so proud too! So this was Makenna's moment to be proud and shine! This kid is obsessed with Chuck E. Cheese right now. I take her once and she talks about it for the next two months.

Happy Anniversary!
This is Todd. One year ago today, 17 November 2007, Amanda and I were married.
I want the world to know that I love my wife. She means everything to me and has blessed my life more than I deserve. I cannot begin to recount the ways that she has brought happiness into my life. I will simply say that I have never been happier and that my love for her grows every day.

Beautiful Blonde and Baby Smiles
While Sarah was taking Kellen's newborn pics, she happened to get some Great pictures of Makenna. And to think she was just testing her lighting when she took these.
I just love my little blonde babe. She just melts my heart. Even if she has her 2 year old moments quite often these days, I can't resist that little smile. And speaking of smiles, little man Kellen is smiling now. He is such a happy little baby. He is cooing and squealing all the time, which is one of my favorite things in the world...the sound of baby talk. I love it. He will be 6 weeks this Sat. I can't believe how quickly time goes by.
Grandma and Grandpa Love
Todd's parents, Ed and Loretta, were recently in town to visit and see their new grandbaby. They came all the way out here from Illinois, which meant a lot to us. It was so nice to get to spend time with them and create some good memories to last. We spent a lot of time hanging out so they could bond with the little ones, eating good food, going to the park, on walks, to sea world, trick or treating on halloween, etc. It was such a great trip and we miss them dearly now that they are back home. Makenna is still talking about the trip to sea world and asks for them often. We can't wait to see them again.
Grandpa and Makenna did lots of bonding over reading books together. It was so cute! Loving the Elmo ride at Sea WorldShe Loves her Elmo! Bet you never knew a Hot Dog could be so Cute! What a ridiculous family picture. I love it!

A Parents Proud Moment
I never thought in all my life I would be able to get so excited over Poop....
Over the last week or so I have been trying to do a lot of potty preparation with Makenna. For some reason after Kellen was born I just felt very ready to get Makenna potty trained. It's not because I hate changing two kids diapers. Really, changing diapers doesn't bug me too much. If I am changing one I can change two. But suddenly she seemed so big on the changing table and so heavy to put up there. It just felt like time.
So we have been watching Elmo's Potty Time video, talking about the potty, "pee pee" and "poo poo" constantly and just getting very excited about going potty overall.
Then the other night we were sitting around playing with Makenna's farm and all of the sudden she says "Oh, Poo Poo!" and takes off running for the bathroom. I go in there a moment later and she is sitting on her potty. So we take off her diaper and, to my amazement, she finishes the job on her potty. Of course there was celebrating and singing and dancing!!! I was SOOO excited, it was pathetic. I would have taken a picture of it if my camera had not been in the car. But it was a big moment.
So we are going to start potty training in full force this week.
I am still a little nervous, so if anyone has any tips or advice, feel free to share. I just could not resist sharing the big moment!
